Configure general inventory settings that apply across multiple transactions in PanatrackerGP.
Site ID Default: Set the default site (a warehouse or location in GP) assignment for Adjustment Add and Adjustment Remove transactions.
Site ID Can Be Changed from Default: When set to true, users can change the Site ID when a default is set. When set to false, the Site ID field is read-only. If using false, be sure to set site default assignments for all profiles.
Filter Items with Zero Qty: Filter out items, bins (bin locations within a site), and sites that have a quantity of 0 or negative quantity from lookup lists.
Allow Negative Quantity: When enabled, quantity-tracked items can go negative when there is insufficient quantity available. Applies to adjustments, transfers, and assembly components.
UOM Default Type: Legacy WM setting that defines how unit of measure (UoM) is determined. Options:
Use UOM for Inventory: Allows users to select a different unit of measure for primary inventory transactions, including Adjustments, Site Transfer, and Bin Moves. Transactions are submitted to GP in the UoM entered. Only UoM options defined on the UoM Schedule assigned to the item are available for selection.
Use UOM based on Item Number Scan: Requires Panatracker SKU to UOM module license. Based on the item number scanned, the corresponding UoM is automatically applied. Requires UoM assignment setup to manufacturer item cross reference numbers associated with the item in GP.
Use Item Class Code: For Adjustment and Site Transfer transactions, adds the ability to filter items based on the Item Class Code.
Lot Expire Date Enabled: Enables the ability to capture the expiration date attribute when adding new items to the system (PO Receiving, Add Adjustment).
Lot Mfg Date Enabled: Enables the ability to capture the manufacture date attribute when adding new items to the system (PO Receiving, Add Adjustment).
Lot Attributes Enabled: Enables the ability to capture any of the five user-definable lot attributes when adding new items to the system (PO Receiving, Add Adjustment). The user-defined attributes must be set up in GP to be displayed.
Use UOM for Lots: Enable the ability to select an alternate UoM for lot-tracked items.
Lot Quantity Default: When enabled, the lot quantity available defaults as the lot quantity for the transaction. Applies to Adjustment Remove, Site Transfers, and Bin Moves.
Lot Sort Order: Sets the lot sort order for lot lookup lists across the system. Note that some lot lookups have site or bin selections applied first.
Use Alternate Bin Look Up for Lot Tracked Items: Includes lots and lot details as part of the bin lookup list for lot-tracked items.
Allow Select All Lots in Bin: Applies to the Order Fulfill transaction. When a bin is selected, if the lots and total lot quantity are equal to or less than the total in the bin, the user is presented with the option to automatically select all lots without requiring selection of each lot and quantity.
Allow Item-Level Count for Lot-Tracked Items: For Stock Count functionality, allows the user to enter the total quantity for the item based on the site or site and bin being counted. If the count matches the total for the item, all lots are marked as counted with the GP captured quantity. Note that this feature is recommended only when using multiple-bin tracking, since count entry is a single entry.
Stock Count Throw Warning on Lot Add: When set to true, lots not part of the stock count schedule for the item-site-bin are logged with a warning message but are not added to the count for GP.
Default Lot Quantity on Receiving Transfer: When completing an inbound transfer (Inbound Receive Transfer), allows the lot quantity received to automatically default to what was transferred.
Default Lot Quantity on Put Away: When using the put away transaction, defaults the FROM bin quantity for the lot selected.
Default Lot Quantity for Item-Bin Move: When enabled, the total lot quantity for the item-site-bin entered defaults for the bin move.
Lot Default Bin [Order Fulfill]: Define the bin default logic for lot-tracked inventory for Order Fulfill. Options:
User Definable Date Fields 4 and 5 are often set up as the original receipt date.
Warn for Sooner Expiring Lot [Order Fulfill]: Enables a warning message if there is an available lot that has an expiration date earlier than the lot selected on Order Fulfill.
Warn for Expired Lots [Order Fulfill]: When enabled, displays a warning message to the user that the lot is expired or will be expiring soon (based on Warn for Expired Lot Days setting).
Warn for Expired Lot Days [Order Fulfill]: Define the number of days before the actual lot expiration date to display a warning on Order Fulfill to users.
Auto Lot Assignment Type: Define lot auto-assignment for Assembly finished good item. Options:
