Configure Composite Code XML for logging in with a barcode

PanatrackerGP can be configured to allow users to log in with a barcode scan. This requires modifications to the Composite Code XML settings in the Panatracker Portal as well as the generation of specific barcodes.

Updating the Composite Code XML in the Panatrack Portal

  1. Navigate to the Panatrack Portal.
  2. Select the Configure menu.
  3. Select Barcode Control.
  4. Click Composite Code XML.
  5. Copy the text displayed in the System Value field.
  6. Paste this text in a Notepad or Notepad++ file for safekeeping.
  7. Replace the default System Value with the text from the XML file linked below.

Generating Barcodes for Login

Using NiceLabel or your labeling tool of choice, generate DataMatrix labels with the following format:

[PC]<U>USERNAME<P>Password

Replace USERNAME and Password with the actual user credentials.
