The mobile app allows you to capture transactions directly from a mobile device. Use barcode scanning to speed up data entry and record transactions at the point and time they occur.
General Navigation
After logging into the mobile app, tap the hamburger menu to open the list of available transactions. The transactions displayed are based on your team role.
Transaction menuThe transaction list is displayed alphabetically. Use the filter to find a specific transaction if needed.
Home Screen and Scan First
- Logged-in user: Your username is displayed on the home screen.
- Active facility: The facility you are currently working on behalf of is shown. If you belong to multiple facilities, use the drop-down to switch. Only units in custody of the active facility are available for transactions.
- Scan First: Accessible from both the menu and the home screen (always available).
Using Scan First
Scan First lets you walk up to any unit and scan it to get more information. The information displayed depends on the type of unit scanned:
- Item and container units: View unit details and access shortcuts to available transactions for that unit.
- Areas: View which units are contained within the scanned area.
Example: Scan First result for an item unit- Use the X to clear the currently selected unit.
- If the unit cannot be scanned, use the corresponding look-up option instead.

- Tap Edit to see all available transactions (based on your team role).
- Tap the star next to a transaction to add it to your favorites.
- Tap the checkbox to confirm and return to the favorites list.
Tap the X to close the Favorites panel. To reopen it, swipe up again.

- Tap Cancel to return to the field without selecting.
Other Mobile Navigation Features
Many transactions include multiple screens, for example: a header tab, a units tab, a review tab, and create-on-the-fly screens. These are represented by a tab menu across the top of the screen.
For transactions with a separate header tab, once the header data is completed, the app automatically switches to the units tab. Header fields are typically set to read-only at that point but can be viewed again at any time.
- A. Tab navigation arrows: Use the left and right arrows to access additional tabs that may not fit on screen depending on your device size.
- B. Active tab: The current tab title is displayed in bold and underlined.
- C. Clear form: The icon at the top left clears the entire transaction form, including any units in the review list. Note that as units are added, they are updated immediately (for example, units added to a check-out transaction are marked as reserved and associated with the reservation ID). Some fields carry over defaults after the first entry (such as a staging area or header details), and the clear action resets all of these.
Field Validation
Field validation icons- A. Green checkmark: The entry is valid and accepted.
- B. Edit icon: No data has been entered yet.
- C. Warning icon: The field was skipped, but a value is required before submitting.
