Is there a way of having more than one or separate Batches?

You can assign different Batch IDs per profile in PanatrackerGP. This allows you to separate batches by user, site location, or handheld device.

Configure Batch IDs per Transaction Type

  1. Navigate to Transaction Manager > Inventory Settings.
  2. Locate the setting named BatchCodeFor[Transaction] (where [Transaction] is the specific transaction type).
  3. Enter a different Batch ID for each profile as needed.

Create Additional Profiles

To support different Batch ID assignments, you may need to create additional profiles:

  1. Navigate to Profile Configuration.
  2. Tap New to create a new profile.
  3. Set the Profile Name (e.g., by user, site, or handheld).
  4. Add a Description.
  5. Highlight the new profile in the list.
  6. Select the Modules you're licensed for (e.g., Connected Inventory).
  7. Select the Host and Target Company.
  8. Save the profile.

Each profile can now have its own Batch ID assignments for organizing transactions in Dynamics GP.
