Order Fulfillment Error: Quantities cannot exceed total quantity plus quantity already transferred

Symptom

Order Fulfillment Error: Quantities cannot exceed total quantity plus quantity already transferred

Cause

This error may occur when the InvoicePartialPicks setting is set to true. This setting does not update the "To Invoice" quantity when the order is updated.

Alternatively, this error may occur if order picking has started in the PanatrackerGP system, but a GP user updated the fulfilled quantity directly in GP.

Solution

The InvoicePartialPicks setting must be set to false if you have any of these conditions:

  • Order lines previously transferred to an invoice (partial invoicing)
  • PanatrackerGP settings enabled for backorder or cancel of unpicked quantities
