Configure how PanatrackerGP handles inventory transfers between sites. Site transfers can be created using several transactions, and on submit, GP Transfer Transactions are created.
Site transfers can be created using the following transactions:
Enable Outbound Site Transfer — Enables the Site Transfer transaction. Site Transfer does not provide specific guidance on which items to select for transfer.
Batch Code for Transfers — Sets the batch code assignment for created GP Transfer Transactions:
Allow Type Transfer — Enables the type field on the Site Transfer transaction to transfer items between types (e.g., transferring items from on-hand to damaged, in service, etc.). When disabled, type fields are not displayed.
Capture Shipping Method for Site Transfers — When enabled, the Shipping Method field is enabled. The lookup list and entry options are based on Shipping Methods setup in Dynamics GP. This information is captured for informational purposes.
Reasons for Transfer — When enabled, the Reason Code field is enabled on the Site Transfer transaction. Reason codes for transfers must be set up in Dynamics GP to use this feature.
Transfer Site ID Default — Defines a default for the transfer From Site field on the Site Transfer transaction. The site must be a valid site in Dynamics GP.
Site Transfer from Site Default — Defines the default From Site for Site Transfer transactions.
Site Transfer to Site Default — Defines a default for the transfer To Site field on the Site Transfer transaction. The site must be a valid site in Dynamics GP.
Transfer From Site List — Limits the sites the user profile is allowed to transfer from on the Site Transfer transaction. Separate sites with a semicolon (;) when adding multiple sites. If empty, all sites are available to select.
Transfer To Site List — Limits the sites the user profile is allowed to transfer to on the Site Transfer transaction. Separate sites with a semicolon (;) when adding multiple sites. If empty, all sites are available to select.
Site Transfer Default Bin — When using multiple bin tracking in GP, setting this to true defaults the Site Transfer To Bin as the PO Receiving Bin default for the To Site. Users may change the destination bin as needed. Requires the PO Receiving Bin to be set up in GP for your sites.
Allow auto-create for the To Bin on Site Transfer — When using multiple bin tracking in GP, setting this to true allows creating a new bin on-the-fly for the Site Transfer To Bin.
Allow Item to be Assigned to Destination Site on Site Transfer — When enabled, if the item is not assigned to the destination To Site on a Site Transfer, the association to the site is automatically created.
Outbound Site Transfer To Bin Default — When using multiple bin tracking in GP, defines the To Bin default option on Site Transfer:
To Bin Display for Site Transfers — When using multiple bin tracking in GP, defines the To Bin lookup list display:
Allow Auto-Assign for All Serials in Bin for Site Transfer — When the item to transfer is serial-tracked in GP, supports automatically selecting all serials available in the From Bin without requiring individual scanning of each serial number.
Use UOM for Site Transfer — Enables the UOM field to allow users to select an alternate unit of measure for a site transfer. Unit of measure setup must be complete in GP to select an alternate UOM. The GP Transfer Transaction is created using the selected UOM, and GP correctly updates quantities to the base unit of measure at posting.
Bulk Item Auto Save At Site Transfer — When enabled, for items tracked by quantity (not serial or lot), changes the mode to scan each individual item and the quantity for the transaction is based on the number of scans. Use UOM for Site Transfers must be set to false to use this feature.
Default Quantity 1 for Lots on Site Transfer — When the item is lot-tracked, a quantity of 1 is set as the default in the quantity to transfer field. Added for specific customer use-case.
Default Lot Quantity on Receiving Transfer — When using the Inbound Receive Transfer as the second transfer step of a Directed Transfer Order setup with a via site, the original quantity transferred for the item-lot entered defaults for the receiving quantity.
Transfers Add POSTTOGL Flag — When enabled, eConnect adds the POSTTOGL node for the Site Transfer and assigns the value from Transfers POSTTOGL Flag Value. The value is set to 1 to create a corresponding GL entry for the Site Transfer. Used when an account segment is defined for site transfers in GP.
Enable Receiving Transfer — Enables the Inbound Receive Transfer transaction. This transaction relates to the Android platform and completes the second step of an in-transit transfer order when an order is set up with a via site.
Receiving Transfer-To Bin Default — Sets an option for the To Bin default for the Receive Transfer transaction as the second transfer step for a Directed Transfer Order using a via site:
Receiving Transfer-To Bin Read Only — When enabled, the To Bin is set as read only. Requires that Receiving Transfer To Bin Default be set to either Site or Item Receiving Bin Default.
