PanatrackerGP is a mobile inventory management solution that creates transactions directly in Microsoft Dynamics GP using barcode scanning and a simplified interface.

How It Works

PanatrackerGP connects to your Dynamics GP database and creates transactions exactly as if they were entered through the GP interface. Capture transactions when they occur using mobile devices with barcode scanning capabilities, eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors.

User Access and Authentication

PanatrackerGP users do not require Dynamics GP login credentials. This separates inventory operations from financial system access, allowing warehouse and stockroom employees to complete transactions without GP user accounts.

Transaction Posting

PanatrackerGP creates or updates transactions in GP and assigns them to a Batch ID for posting. The system does not support automated posting from mobile devices—transactions remain in batches for manual or automated posting in GP.

Automated Posting Options

Third-party automated posting solutions integrate with GP to control posting logic:

  • Selective posting — Automatically post receiving transactions while requiring manual audit for adjustments
  • Batch-based posting — Configure automatic posting by Batch ID, allowing new users to use non-automated batches for additional review
  • Transaction-type control — Choose which transaction types post automatically versus manually
