Implementing PanatrackerGP - Training

Implementing PanatrackerGP - Training

Panatrack offers remote and on-site training options. Both options require a GP test company or environment for training and testing purposes.

Training Options

  • Remote Training — Functional training focused on system setup and configuration
  • On-Site Training — Includes process and workflow evaluation plus expanded user training
  • Blended Approach — Remote training for initial setup and configuration followed by on-site training for expanded user training

Remote Training

Remote training covers functional system training in two parts:

Administrator Training

  • Profiles and users
  • System configuration
  • Transaction logging
  • Support infrastructure

Device Application Training

  • Transaction navigation
  • User features and workflows

Configuration Management

Although PanatrackerGP offers hundreds of setting options, many follow similar patterns:

  • Enabling transactions per profile
  • Defining Batch ID assignments
  • Setting default site assignments
  • Enabling label printing functions

Panatrack reviews the configuration infrastructure and demonstrates how to find settings for each transaction. Based on your organization and processes, the administrator configures related settings for complex transactions. Adjust configurations as needed when reviewing each transaction.

Finalize configurations before training additional users for best results.

On-Site Training

On-site training requires 1-2 days depending on the solution purchased, functionality roll-out scope, and number of users. Schedule on-site training with advance notice—decide by the kick-off meeting to incorporate into the timeline.

On-Site Training Schedule Example

  1. Introductions
  2. Discussion and documentation of current processes
  3. Walk-through of inventory stock areas and processes
  4. Administrator training for profiles, users, and settings
  5. Walk-through of each transaction with process discussion and setting adjustments
  6. Additional transaction walk-throughs with updated configurations
  7. Review transaction logging in portal
  8. GP setup to support user training
  9. Preparation of barcode labels or scripts for GP (purchase orders, sales orders)
  10. Train-the-trainer user training
  11. Review of Panatrack support infrastructure
  12. Discussion of workflows and GP setup (e.g., enabling multi-bins, bin numbering logic)

On-Site Training Requirements

Ensure these resources are available:

  • Conference or training room accommodating all participants
  • Projection to TV or screen
  • Computer with access to PanatrackerGP portal
  • Device installed with application and connected to network
  • Screen projection tool for device (Panatrack provides installation instructions)
