Flex Fields

Flex Fields

Flex Fields are additional fields available to capture extra data during transactions. Most PanatrackerGP transactions support Flex Fields, and some transactions also include unit-level flex fields.

Configuring Flex Fields

Access Flex Field Configuration from the portal under Configure > Flex Field Configuration.

Flex Fields are numbered and associated with each transaction. For example, there is a Flex Field 1 for every transaction.

Click [Edit] to configure the Field Name and Behavior:

Field Name: The label displayed to the user. Keep the label short for best display on the device screen.

Behavior: Controls whether the field is used:

  • Disabled: Field is not used
  • Optional: Field is available but not required
  • Required: User must provide a value

List Mode: When enabled, allows you to add a List Stored Proc to display value selections to the user. A Validation Stored Proc assignment can also be made. Contact our Professional Services team for assistance with this more complex setup feature.
