GZip magic Number Error

Symptom

"The Magic number in GZip header is not correct" message is displayed.

Cause

This rare error indicates that the IIS process on the server may have become corrupted.

Solution

Restart IIS on the server where PanatrackerGP is hosted:

  1. From the Start menu, tap Run.
  2. Type cmd and tap OK.
  3. At the command prompt, type iisreset /stop and press Enter.

IIS will stop all services and return confirmation once complete.
