How to resolve a "Sync failed for SyncAsset OutofMemoryException" error message

Symptom

"Sync failed for SyncAsset OutofMemoryException" error message appears.

Cause

This error occurs when too many lines of information are being synced at one time, exceeding available memory.

Solution

Step 1: Reduce Sync Row Limit

  1. Navigate to the Asset Setup page.
  2. Expand General Asset Settings.
  3. Lower the number in the Sync Row Limit setting.
  4. Save the settings.

Step 2: Filter by Sites (If Error Persists)

If the error continues after lowering the sync row limit, filter which assets are synced using sites:

  1. In General Asset Settings, locate the Site List for Sync setting.
  2. Add specific sites to limit the asset sync scope.
  3. Save the settings.

Step 3: Contact Support (If Error Still Persists)

If the error occurs after both reducing the row limit and filtering by sites, create a support ticket at support@panatrack.com for further investigation.
