Intermec Scanner Wireless Setup
Basic wireless configuration for an Intermec scanner. Refer to the manufacturer's device manual for advanced setup options.
Configure the Wireless Radio
- Open the Start menu.
- Select Settings > System > Intermec Settings (or Enterprise Settings).
- Select Communications > 802.11 Radio.
- Ensure Radio Enabled is set to On. If not, select it, check the box, and tap OK.
- Ensure Security Choice is set to Funk Security. If not, select it, check the radio button, and tap OK.
- Select Funk Security.
- Ensure Active Profile is set to Profile 1. If not, select it, check the radio button, and tap OK.
- Select Profile 1.
- Enter a Profile Label (any name) and the SSID of your wireless network.
- Scroll down to Power Mode and select CAM.
- Select the correct Association (most networks use WPA2).
- Enter your Pre-Shared Key (Wi-Fi password).
Verify the Connection
- Open the Start menu.
- Select ISpyWiFi.
- Confirm that an IP address is displayed.
