Site Transfer Fails with eConnect Error 1379 "Unit of Measure Does Not Exist"

Symptom

Submitting a Site Transfer in PanatrackerGP fails, and Dynamics GP rejects it through eConnect with error 1379 (stored procedure taIVTransferLineInsert): “Unit of Measure does not exist.” This is a rare error.

Cause

This is a rare error, related to the Unit of Measure Schedule setup for the item, or to the GP database's internal links being out of date following a recent update.

How to Fix

  1. Review the Unit of Measure Schedule setup for the item.
  2. If you recently updated the GP database, run Check Links to resolve the error.
