Honeywell/Intermec Android Device - Cutting Off Last Digit (Check Digit) Of A UPC Barcode
If the last digit (check digit) of a UPC barcode is missing after scanning, the Send Check Digit option needs to be enabled.
Steps
- From the home screen, tap the Launcher icon.
- In the Apps tab, locate and tap Settings.
- Tap Scanning > Internal Scanner > Default Profile.
- The Symbology Settings option is now enabled.
- Scroll through the symbology list, ensure the checkbox for your symbology is selected, and tap the symbology name.
- Check the Send Check Digit box.
- Press the Back button to exit the scanning configuration.
