How do I configure my Android device to perform an Enter action after a DataWedge scan?
By default, DataWedge does not send an Enter action after a scan. Configuring this allows the cursor to automatically advance to the next field after scanning.
Steps
- Open your applications list and launch the DataWedge application.
- Select the default profile (it displays (default) next to its name).
- Scroll down to the Keystroke Output section.
- Tap Action Key Character and select Line Feed.
- Tap Basic Data Formatting (also within Keystroke Output).
- Enable these three options:
- Enable
- Send Data
- Send ENTER Key
The device now sends an Enter action after every scan.
