Install PanatrackerGP on Android Handheld

Install the PanatrackerGP Android application on a handheld device using the QR code from your portal.

Prerequisite: An integrated barcode scanner or a QR scanning application.

Download and Install

  1. Navigate to the Device Setup page on the PanatrackerGP portal.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Android for PanatrackerGP to reveal the QR code.
  3. If the device does not have an integrated barcode scanner, open the camera app.
  4. Scan the QR code to download the APK file. The device must be on a network that can communicate with the PanatrackerGP portal.
  5. Accept and open the downloaded file if prompted.
  6. If the device requests permission to install, follow the prompts and enable downloads from this source.
  7. Tap Install to begin installation.
  8. Once complete, tap Open to launch PanatrackerGP.

Configure the Device

  1. Enter the following information when prompted:
    • Device Name — A unique name for the device, typically based on location (e.g., "WHS1" for Warehouse 1 or "SR1" for Stock Room 1).
    • Portal Address — The address shown at the bottom of the Device Setup page, or rescan the same QR code used to download the installer.
    • Path — Leave blank.
  2. Tap OK or press Enter.

Activate on the Portal

  1. Once the login screen appears on the device, refresh the Device Setup page on the portal.
  2. Locate the newly installed device and click Edit.
  3. In the popup, check the Active checkbox.

The device is now ready for use.
