Install PanatrackerGP on Android Handheld
Install the PanatrackerGP Android application on a handheld device using the QR code from your portal.
Prerequisite: An integrated barcode scanner or a QR scanning application.
Download and Install
- Navigate to the Device Setup page on the PanatrackerGP portal.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Android for PanatrackerGP to reveal the QR code.
- If the device does not have an integrated barcode scanner, open the camera app.
- Scan the QR code to download the APK file. The device must be on a network that can communicate with the PanatrackerGP portal.
- Accept and open the downloaded file if prompted.
- If the device requests permission to install, follow the prompts and enable downloads from this source.
- Tap Install to begin installation.
- Once complete, tap Open to launch PanatrackerGP.
Configure the Device
Enter the following information when prompted:
- Device Name — A unique name for the device, typically based on location (e.g., "WHS1" for Warehouse 1 or "SR1" for Stock Room 1).
- Portal Address — The address shown at the bottom of the Device Setup page, or rescan the same QR code used to download the installer.
- Path — Leave blank.
- Tap OK or press Enter.
Activate on the Portal
- Once the login screen appears on the device, refresh the Device Setup page on the portal.
- Locate the newly installed device and click Edit.
- In the popup, check the Active checkbox.
The device is now ready for use.
