  • Backlight timeout — A shorter backlight timeout conserves power during idle periods.

General Expectations

Industrial handheld devices are designed to last a full shift (8–10 hours) with continuous use. Place devices in their charging cradle when not in use.

Most customers do not need spare battery charging unless they run back-to-back shifts with the same devices.
