System Architecture
Administrative Portal
PanatrackerGP operates as a website portal and web services hosted within IIS (Internet Information Server). IIS is typically already installed on your server. If not installed, consult with your IT provider.
Mobile Device Software
The transactional software installs on mobile scanners for transactions.
Data Storage
Configuration information and transactions from handheld devices store in a database on the same SQL Server that holds your Dynamics GP databases.
User Access
Users access PanatrackerGP primarily through handheld scanning devices. Administrative users occasionally access the online configuration portal to change settings.
Installation Options
Installation on Dynamics GP Server
PanatrackerGP typically installs on the same server as your Dynamics GP database:
