MC3300X Program Keys for Special Character & Lookup List

Use Key Programmer on the Zebra MC3300X to assign special characters or lookup list navigation to physical keys.

Program a Special Character Key

Open Android Settings.

Scroll down to Key Programmer.

In the Key Programmer window, scroll down and tap Diamond.

Tap Keys and Buttons.

Use the search bar to find the character you want to program. For example, search Subtract for a hyphen or dash.

Tap the radio button to select it.

Program the P1 Key for Lookup Lists

Use the search bar to query p1 and tap it.

Select Keys and Buttons.

Use the search bar to enter dpad.

Tap the radio button for DPAD_DOWN.

Press the Back key to complete.
