Restock Bin Move

This transaction requires setup of multiple bin tracking in Dynamics GP with specific bin configuration.

Required Bin Setup

Restock Bin Configuration — The restock bin must be set up as the Priority 1 bin on the Item-Site Default Bin setup in GP. The logic works as follows:

  • MIN QUANTITY — Triggers restock when bin available quantity falls below this threshold
  • MAX QUANTITY — Calculates restock quantity as MAX Quantity - Available Quantity

Example: If an item has MIN quantity set at 100 and MAX quantity set at 200, when the bin available quantity falls below 100, the item appears in the Restock Bin Move transaction. The restock quantity is calculated as 200 - Available Quantity.

Advanced Bin Management — If the PanatrackerGP Advanced Bin Management module is installed, Overstock Bin types must be defined. Only Overstock Bin types are available as the Move From Bin.

To Bin — Provides validation that the correct bin was selected for the restock move for the item.
