Release Notes October 2021
Upgrade to Sandbox 10/29/21. Upgrade to Production 11/6/21.
This release was primarily targeted at portal interface enhancements.
Left Menu Display
Added visual indicator to identify the currently active page on the left menu.
- Reorganized the left menu to move Teams, Locations, and Transport Methods under the Settings section.
- Widened the menu to accommodate longer section headings without wrapping.
Team Role Update — Updated Team Role setup to hide group section titles when no transactions are enabled for that section. For example, if no shipping functionality is enabled for a role, the Shipping section is no longer visible. This simplifies the left menu for users based on the functionality they use.
Transaction Navigation for Portal
Updated navigation for all portal transactions for improved usability. Focus is set to the first expected field when a transaction opens.
Current field focus is clearly defined using Tab navigation. Submit can be executed with Enter. When focus is on the action button, the button changes to green.
For transactions that capture multiple units, focus returns to the proper field after each submission, removing the need to manually set focus.
Transaction Updates
- Check In Transaction — Removed display of all unit attributes from the check-in screen to simplify the form.
- Receive New Unit — Moved the Create Container function from the middle of the entry window to a function associated with the Placed In field. Corrected the Placed In field default logic on serial-tracked units to remain after clearing the Item Master.
- Create New User — UI update to move additional fields in line with the rest of the user setup.
