Release Notes for January 2026
Unit Maintenance Transaction
Maintenance transactions can now be saved with an in-progress state. This allows starting a work order and saving it to complete later. A new grid view displays in-progress transactions. Upcoming features will include Work Order Request and the ability to prioritize and assign work orders to a user or team.
Validate Unit Grid Views
Unit costs are now logged on validate unit grids. The unit cost is captured at the time of the validation action and can be added as a column. Quantity-tracked items use the item master's last cost value.
Usage Transaction
A filter option was added to restrict items and units to those allocated to the current project. An additional tab was added to the mobile app to review selected units for the active transaction.
Package Tracking
Additional support for package pick up and delivery. Movable container support was added. Recipients now have a Recipient ID field separate from the email field.
Master-Component (Parent/Child) Association
The ability to define item master component options on the parent item master was added. This allows pre-defining which components can be associated with a master when using the Build Unit transaction.
Receiving Setting Option
The ability to create a new item master on the fly during receiving is now controlled through a setting option, providing flexibility to enable or disable this feature per organization.
Build Unit Transaction
- Support for the master-component association was added.
- Attribute data options added for components at both add and remove.
- Additional transaction history tab for improved visibility and audits.
Reports Shortcut on Dashboard
The dashboard was updated to allow users to add shortcuts to frequently accessed reports.
Other Features
- Lot-tracked items — Now support read-only display of manufacturer and expire date across defined transactions.
- Movable containers — New rule to restrict nesting a container into the same container type (e.g., a pallet cannot be nested into another pallet).
- Item Master and related views — Moved to a separate section on the left menu in the portal.
- Framework updates for improved speed and performance.
- Interface improvements across various transactions and pages.
- Several grid views in transaction history now support optional attribute columns.
- Decimal type attributes — Increased to support up to 5 decimal places.
- Update Unit — Added transactional data capture for serial-tracked units to support building historical data.
- Areas can now be edited from the area setup screen.
- Additional columns on Item Restock Levels and Item Reorder Quantities grids.
- Refresh button added to the mobile app for team/facility and settings.
- Receiving and Transfer History reports added to the reports library.
- Reports library and infrastructure improvements.
- Additional Build Shipment enhancements for supporting Order Picking on the desktop.
Roadmap
- Work Order Request — Available on mobile for unplanned maintenance requests.
- Unit Maintenance/Work Order Enhancements — Priority, due date, and user/team assignment for maintenance activities.
- Auto-Create Orders from Restock/Reorder Points — New interface to view items below facility restock (transfer orders) and below reorder point (purchase orders) with auto-create capability.
- Project Field Naming Setting — Define naming convention (project, job, contract, or custom name) applied across the system.
- Tasklist/Form for Update Unit — Templates for managing various task types on the Update Unit transaction, similar to Maintenance Plans and Place-In-Service checklists.
- Images/Attachments — Infrastructure in progress, planned for release before end of 2026.
